The 32V-3 was a result of Collins progressive engineering and update. Both the 32V-1 and 32V-2 were generators of TVI (Television Interference). The 32V-3 included a
completely shielded RF deck. Much thought went into RF shielding to eliminate spurious emissions. This unit is the most desirable of the three transmitters in the series. If you plan to do any AM operating get this
one. In suburban locations the early 32V's can create issues with the neighbors. The 32V-3 shown in these pages has not been restored.
