You have to get into collecting Collins (or any other manufacture) before power supplies become interesting. The two pictures above are of the 516F-2 AC Power Supply. This
matches the S-Line transmitters (great utility if working from the home QTH !) and the KWM-2 /2A (same). There are a number of modifications made to update these (or maybe down date) such as solid state tubes,
relays, etc. My advice is if you buy a unit that has modifications ship it immediately to Bud Whitney, K7RMT (See the Links
page). Sometime modifications can destroy your other equipment. Some people modify these unit to include a speaker . This modification depreciates the value of the unit (be aware). Collectors market $375
(08/00).
The Power Supply in the right picture has been restored by Wayne Spring W6IRD (Great craftsman see links page).
Wayne is also the resident KWM-380 doctor. This is the matching AC power supply for the KWM-1.
