The HRO-60 was the last of the classic coil changing receivers. The views to the right are the "A" coil front view. The tabs on the ends allow the receiver clamps to secure the coil in the receiver. The right middle picture is a top view of this coil. The butterfly tab switches on each coil allow switching between general coverage mode and Amateur Radio Service bandspread. The band spread slides are pictured below right. The end notches allow them to be secured in the band spread drum assembly on the HRO-60. The small knob to the left of the band spread window allows selection of the proper band spread slide (see front of the HRO-60).
