In this comparison the
KMW-1 is to the left and the KMW-2A is to the right. There
are many of similarities. Obviously the IF transformer
got much smaller in the KWM-2A. The "J" style filter in
the left corner of the KWM-1 went away and was replace
by the solder in "Q" style filters. The pictures are not
size calibrated. The KWM-1 is physically smaller than
the KWM-2A. I think the KWM-2A is a less restricted package
than the KWM-1.
