In this comparison, the obvious is that there is much difference between the 75A-1 and the 75A-2,3. The main difference between the 75A-2 and the 75A-3 is the filter assembly. What I think, is the A3 should have been called the 75A-2A
(Collins creative marketing when they changed the name?)
An area that is not immediately obvious is the aluminum used in the 75A-2 and the 75A-3 was not very high quality because, at the time, the Korean War was in process and aluminum was in short supply.
