The Heath auto-tune Antenna
Tuner Model-SA-2500 was acquired so when I wanted to do
a rapid QSY with the Viking II during a contest I would
be all set. OK - stop smiling.
This is a tough tuner capable of handling 2000 watts
peak in SSB mode and 1000 watts CW. Typical tune
time is 15 to 20 seconds. Minimum power to tune is 35
watts. I am impress with the unit, it covers 1.8 MHz.
through 30 MHz.
I am considering painting the unit S-Line gray and replacing
the knobs. Keep -- smiling.
