This page
identifies the 32S-3 the companion Transmitter for the
75S-3 "series" receiver. The 32S-3 could be defined as
the last of the S-Line product series transmitters. The
32S-3 transmitter product includes the 32S-3A variant.
This unit is quite rare and includes the second crystal
bank allowing almost general coverage. In the Collins
collectors market a 32S-3A sells for about ten times the
32S-3 (08/00). It is interesting to note that one
of the major enhancements over the 32S-1 was for the CW
ops. Note the difference between the 32S-1 front panel
and the 32S-3 front panel "CW Cal.". Art Collins, was
after all was a brass pounder!
